NBA: Lebron’s Lakers beat Davis, Pelicans at home
Superstar Lebron James posted a triple-double with 22 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds as the Los Angeles beat New Orleans Pelicans 112-104 at home.
The NBA continued with 10 matches on Friday night, as the Lakers improved to 19 wins and 13 losses on the season with a win over Pelicans and their star Anthony Davis.
Pelicans’ Davis, who was suffering with flu-like symptoms, performed big with 30 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists, but fell short to the energetic Lakers led by veteran superstar James.
Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma was the team’s high scorer with 23 points and Croatian youngster Ivica Zubac set season highs with 16 points and 11 rebounds in his first start of the season.
For New Orleans, Julius Randle’s 21 point performance against his former team was not enough.
