Normalcy returns to liberated Afrin

Normalcy has returned to daily life in northwestern Syria’s Afrin region, which was liberated by Turkey-backed forces from YPG/PKK and Daesh terrorist groups.

After liberating Afrin’s town center — formerly a major hideout for YPG/PKK terrorists — on March 18, the Turkish army is taking security measures in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency reporters on the field, Turkish military is defusing handmade explosives across the city and filling trenches dug by the terrorists.
